| Cameron Park Market Canopy La Crosse, Wisconsin -- 2004 - 2005 This permanent addition to Cameron Park is now in service. Its primary purpose is to provide shelter for an open-air market without blocking out ambient light. This modular design can easily be expanded upon or replicated in other locations. The design for this canopy was inspired by La Crosse's original market square (shown below), which is now occupied by a parking ramp. Cameron Park is located across King Street from the original Market Square, and the Cameron Park Market is bringing this community market tradition back to La Crosse.
